Karen Lord Pilates Movement's world-renowned Pilates teacher training is designed for those pursuing a career in private or group instruction, as well as individuals looking to deepen their personal practice.
Rooted in classical foundations and elevated through KLPM’s contemporary method, this program delivers a comprehensive understanding of both mat and reformer Pilates.

Certification is recognized globally across professional Pilates studios, with KLPM graduates teaching in New York, London, Japan, China, Korea, Germany, and beyond.
This training was developed by Karen Lord and is led by Morgan, Director of Training and Development.
Program Breakdown (235 Hours)

125 Hours — In-Studio Intensive Training

50 Hours — Practice Teaching

30 Hours — Observation

30 Hours — Self Practice
Weekend Intensive Schedule
(Venice Studio)
-
Fridays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
-
Saturdays: 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Sundays: 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend intensives are held at our Venice teacher training facility though
the remaining 110 hours may be completed at any of our studio locations: Venice, Santa Monica, Redondo or Melrose

Technical Training

Reformer: purpose, setup, safety, and best practices

Mat & reformer exercise systems (beginner through advanced)

Proper cueing, pacing, and class flow

Musculoskeletal fundamentals

Posture, imbalances, and correction strategies

Pre/Post-natal basics
Teaching Development

Class structuring & sequencing

$3,950
Includes all components required to complete the certification (excluding prerequisites)
Terms

Certification is granted upon completion of all program requirements

Missed hours must be approved to remain eligible for graduation

Schedule subject to adjustment within training period

Minimum of 6 trainees required per training
